All Shall be Well:
The Spiritual Teachings of Julian of Norwich
Julian of Norwich lived in England in the fourteenth century. As a young woman she experienced a series of visions. She spent thirteen years composing her book Showings, in which she shares with us her insights into God's love for us that was revealed to her in these visions. In this retreat we will carefully consider Julian's profound and subtle insights into the ways in which divine love, revealed to us in Christ, transforms us into itself. Time will be given for group meditation, personal reflection and discussion of the themes presented.
The topics covered in the conferences include:
The Life of Julian of Norwich, an introduction to her basic teachings.
Love is God's Meaning, Love is our meaning, and how we find this meaning.
God in the ongoing creation of all things, God in us.
Love as liberation from sin and suffering.
Spiritual growth and Healing.
